Thanks for the response.

I did take away the vitamin water already, as I was only doing it once in a while, I thought it best not to do it at all.

I bought the oyster shell stuff and they seem to have taken to it already.

I also purchased a bag of wild bird game crumble with 24% protein. I am also giving egg daily. My quails also get daily seed. Although only my male will ever eat meal worms, the female won't touch them.

My hen has laid many eggs in the past and even sat on them, but we've never had a single egg hatch. I assumed it was because they were not mating, but now I think it could have been the water, like you stated. I guess I'll see what happens from here on out.
