I've helped a few times if the bird seems to be struggling or in an odd position. I've figured out what happened with this one, he's at the wrong end of the egg, the air bubble is at the other end, that probably doesn't give us much hope.
I've left him be since last time, but he seems not to be moving, so it may have been a bad idea, I doubt he would have been able to hatch out of the wrong end anyway.
