Holly,

I know, from reading your past posts and from this thread also, that you are very experienced with buttons and you know what you are doing. You are a kind, thoughtful person, evident from your writing. You did everything you possibly knew to do to help your little chick. As we all know, there are exceptions to every rule; there may be times when it is perfectly acceptable to help the chick out. I also think it is different, at least in our minds, when there are a few eggs in the incubator and many eggs in the incubator. If there are many eggs, it doesn't matter as much if some don't make it. But if there are only a few, it's especially important to us for a successful hatch. I'm sorry you were offended by the comments. I don't think anyone was intentionally being critical. Sometimes it is difficult to communicate without seeing facial expressions and hearing voice tone. Hope your little chicks are thriving!
