Hi Dan,

I think you have a good idea, and it would be especially positive to strengthen one's stock and avoid inbreeding. We have buttons as a result of my son's science project some years ago. He is a junior in high school now, and I've warned him when he goes away to college, that the birds go, too... somewhere! I do not want the responsibility of taking care of them. Most of our favorites, with the exception of one or two from the original hatch, have passed on, so I'm not too sentimental about them. Therefore, I would not be interested myself in joining a club. However, I think there are others that would be interested. Best of luck in your endeavor!
