Subject: Female Quail Problems...

So, one of my females has something wrong with her. I've never seen this before, and we really don't know what to do. She breathes out of her mouth all the time, and, almost in "fits", she "makes a gasping movement" and opens her beak and throat almost like she's choking. This has been going on for a very long time. I have her on antiboitics, but that doesn't seem to be working. She's under a heat lamp, and she has a pretty balanced diet of gamebird feed, seed, and grit. I'll be boiling an egg for her after my mom is finished making dinner.

Does anyone know what this is and or how to fix it?
