Subject: new to button quail and have a couple questions

So, I have admired them for awhile, knowing that one day the opportunity would present itself. Well, it finally has and this weekend I'm all set to pick up some button quail chicks. Yeeee! I am curious about some things though and I'm hoping you guys can clarify. In a perfect world, these guys would live in my parakeet aviary but I haven't been able to find any info about how the two species interact. With parakeets being hookbills, the slightest aggression could be VERY bad. Any thoughts? I have alternative living spaces for them so if need be they can have their own home. Has anyone ever used a pack n play (like a mini sort of baby playpen)? And what would the ideal number be, based on your experience? I don't want to get more than 3 but I'm afraid that just one would get lonely. Are there any tips or tricks or things you may have learned from experience that a newbie like me should know? I appreciate all of the help so, so much! I look forward to your responses!

Kerry
