I don't have any problems having more than one male together in my aviaries,. If I ever change it up I always add the new button at night, and it seems they meld into the group a lot better. I hear some people say they pair and mate for life. Myself and some other Button people I know do not have the same opinion on that. Our observations are that they will mate any female they can and the females don't seem to mind one bit. And our observations are also that they seem to prefer to be in a group.
