Hi there!

I have six adult quail and five almost full-grown quail. It seems that the ones that I hold constantly (once or twice a day) are more calm and tame. Talk to them in when you approach them, even in jibberish, it works! It may take some time to get them to warm up to you. There might be some quail that will warm up faster than others.

According to Michele's site, pairs should get at most 4 by 1 feet I don't go by that but Michele is the expert.

I had a trio (one male, two females) that liked each other petty well, but they did not breed in the trio. When one of the females died, the two started breeding, but it's diferent for everybody.

When you say "they", what are you refering to? Is it just buttons, or a variety?

Hope I helped some,

Thomas
