You'll probably start seeing some eggs soon, but she's still young. I have lots of females that were over 2 months before they started laying. The presence of a male, pestering her day in and day out will also stimulate her reproductive instincts, but it sure wouldn't help with the taming. She'll probably start laying within a few weeks.

Susan sent me some birds that she rescued from a breeder in Michigan. One of the hens was tame from the moment I got her. She'll hop out of the cage and into my hand to get a treat. Don't know how she got that way, so I can't really advise you on taming, but keep trying, it's fun to have a tame one.
