Subject: Female aggression

While I was out of town, my hubby said that our female button kept attacking her mate. They have always gotten along well and I have raised six of their offspring. However, she was chasing him and picking him up by his backside and flinging him around. He developed a nasty wound from this treatment and hubby separated him from her. Does anyone have any idea why she might have done this? Any ideas on what to do now? Thanks!
