Subject: Is this normal?

Every night as of the passed 3 or 4 days my button sort of gets these spurts 2 or 3 times during the night (as in late night -- when I'm in bed asleep) where she flies vigorously around the cage for a few seconds. There are no other animals in this room or that come in this room, it's completely random. It scares me because I'm afraid she's going to get stuck in the boink-proof stuff at the top of the cage (I have to get in there and fix it, it's sort of flopping down) or somehow getting hurt from flying around so hard.

What does this mean? And how come she's STILL afraid of me. Can anyone give me a guesstimate time of how long it takes for buttons to warm up to you??
