If they are the same age they should be fine being put together as long as they are pretty young. You will have to watch them interact. Later you could put the extra chick with your single female when the chick is full grown. You will have to introduce them slowly too. I usually put them together under supervision a few times a day and then leave them permanently once they are getting along. Be careful though as Buttons can fight quite viciously. Good luck!!
