Considering that in their natural habitat they are probably seen in pairs or perhaps alone exploring for food in the grasslands, buttons will desire a company of another. They are not like some other birds that could be seen in groups or even flocks as they may be aggressive toward each other especially in crowded places. It would be nice to have a pair (male and female) living peacefully together in a cage. But i do not want them to breed and i dont want to make money selling them either. If my single lonely chick turns out to be a female, then she may very well bond with my older hen and become good sisters. But if it turns out to be a male i wouldnt want it to go chasing after my hen.. ha ha She is more than two years of age and do hope she will stay healthy...
