Subject: keeping them quiet at night

is there anything that can be done to keep these guys quiet at night? i have three males and even with keeping them together, they still crow and a lot of times in the middle of the night. it was never really a problem before, i usually sleep through it, but i came home from work today to find a note from an anonymous neighbor complaining that they have been keeping him up at night for weeks. i'm extremely upset, worried that if this person complains to the manager i'll have to get rid of them and it would absolutely break my heart to do so (I can't really afford to move right now). Will covering the cage help at all? i'm so afraid of having to get rid of them, and for neighbors who themselves are pretty damn noisy with their friends coming in and out at all hours of hte night. Thanks in advance for any advice.
