Subject: Broodiness by Color

Could there be a relationship between the desire to incubate eggs and rear young in button quail, and variety? I always had hen blue faced buttons go broody, regardless of whether they were incubator hatched or naturally reared. Incidently, blue faced hens are very dark, and are colored like bronze turkey hens.
