So i went to bed at around 4am last night and Cookie was looking really bad. her eyes were totally shut, her neck was stretched out and she was just laying her head on the ground in front of her. I did set up a heater to warm the cage and I left a light on over top of the cage overnight.

When i woke up this morning i honestly thought she would be gone bc she was so bad only a few hours earlier, but what I saw was something totally opposite!! she was alert and running around the cage!!! she still isnt 100% better but you wouldnt have thought this was the same bird that was looking near death a few hours before. and shes eating seeds and grit from the bottom of the cage!!

I dont see an egg anywhere though so if she IS egg bound, is there still a chance she could die? she just seems SO much better that im way more optimistic about her than i was before bed.

I gave her some fresh veggies and im boiling up some eggs now.

Maybe she just got a chill or had a bug that she beat? Is there anything else I should be doing right now? anything else to watch for?
