You're on the right track James, I've seen pictures of all of the things you mentioned. I've also seen pictures of tiny chicks snuggled up into stuffed animals, very cute. I asked my wife and son to look at garage sales for fuzzy stuffed animals. They found a bunch for me, now I can't wait to try them. Flower pots, fake ivy, tissue boxes, just about anything non toxic would be fine and probably appreciated by the quail.
