We have three button quail (one male, two female) in a 40-gallon low aquarium with screen top. We have a hanging water bottle for them and dishes for feed and grit. We have a fake log they can run through, climb on, and hide in. We have two fake plants bent to form like a weeping willow (this is where the hens like to gather their eggs) and a plastic "igloo" meant for hamsters, etc. They love having places to hide and things to climb on.
