Hi Kathy,

Sorry about your trouble with your hen! Yes, leave her by herself until she heals. You may even want to use a heating lamp for a few days to aid in her healing. You can use peroxide on a q-tip, put some neosporin on the wound. Do you give them vitamins? Also, some hard boiled egg as a treat. Poor baby! After she heals, if you decide to put her back in the cage with the others, you will have to watch them closely. Maybe you can add some hiding places, so she could get away from the offender.

Congratulations on your new hatch! You are really into this, aren't you!!!
