If you look at the pic, you will see that there is no door on my room, the birds have access..Once they settle they usually stay in the bird room, I have a light that stays on all nite and they seem to like to go there, prob for saftey sake..a wild instinct..

I think I really am kinda nuts..you see most of my birds, parrots, etc..were cooped up in cages and never let out, or kept in cages that were too small..no toys, no good food..so My birds are out of the cages when I am home, and the free rangers are out all the time...I feel that this is there nature and I have the room, so let them live like I would like to see them...

I have 31 birds of different species,from a Zebra finch to a Blue and gold Macaw, african grey, cockatoos, tiels, cripes...but they are treated as my children, they get good food, love, toys, and intereaction with me..

I did not intend to have this many buttons, but when I saw the living conditions they were in..that did it...I wanted them to be as free as I could let them...

I have not seen anyone, fighting or picking or mating yesterday at all...they are in a bunch like ducks, where one goes they all go...they sleep all huddles together, butts against each others in a circle...

I think that they have no feathers and such, from being, dirtly, and confined in tiny cage, with dirty paper, and it really smelled bad...

Sorry to ramble on so, but I have no one to talk to about the birds and I love all the info you are giving me..

I sit in my chair in the evening, no tv, and sit and watch all the birds playing, running, jumping, and having a blast..to me its better than anything..
