I am in the UK.

I've set him up in a hospital cage - I was planning to leave him where he was (hence the boarding up to stop the dog) but this morning he was worse - weak and falling over.

So he's gone back up to my rat room, I've set the heat mat under one corner of his cage. He has his house at the opposite corner with bedding in and a small soft rag over the heated bit - he's barely left that spot and it is a nice temperature.

He is still eating, he's had a good go at spreading his food around as he always does when he eats, and this morning's mealworms were all gone. So good signs.

If he pulls through I will not put him back in his normal cage - I will either keep him upstairs permanently or wait until I can build his new cage atop the hutch. Remy acted up again today - he was up on his bag feet trying to look for Bob over the board so that setup is definitely ruled out.

Incidentally the rats cannot rach him in their room, he is on a shelf and they have no access to it :)
