I know! It's sad when you have to give some away! You wonder how well they will be cared for. The last ones we gave away were kept in a horse stall. Thomas helped the man clip the wings, but I guess they grew back and didn't get clipped again. The quail flew away! I was sure they would not survive, since there are snakes and all kinds of critters around here. However, our friends have spotted some of them around their property. So they are surviving!
