Why would you throw them out? Scramble them, steam them, I even had someone devil a few dozen of mine over the holidays and someone else made poached quail eggs. They can also be baked with but it takes about 10 button eggs to equal a chicken egg. You can do everything with button eggs that you do with chicken eggs just on a smaller scale. I had an awesome breakfast of 25 button eggs and 2 of my bantam chicken eggs scrambled with some goat cheese.

When I don't feel like cooking them I just throw them with a bit of force into the cat or dog food dish. They split open and the pets enjoy them. Eggs are a very healthy treat for your pets and will give them a good coat. As mentioned if you cook them you can also feed them back to your birds. An egg has everything needed to make an egg.

If you don't have time to use them now keep in mind eggs are still edible after 6months in the fridge. So long as you have space to store them you might find them useful one day. Also whatever I don't use I sell for $3 a 25 count tray and I have buyers backed up waiting for eggs. People love to make little dishes out of quail eggs.
