My experiences have both to allow the chicks with the hens but observe for the first day or so. Some hens it's true will leave the nest after a few chicks have hatched, so you might wish to place the few in an encubator after she's left the nest. If she's a good mom and brooding the chicks, you may try placing the newer encubator chicks back in with her.

I've had two hens brooding chicks at the same time and when one didn't seem to be a good mom and didn't seem to be keeping her hatched chicks harm, I placed the couple of chicks that hatched in with the broody mom. She took care of them just like her own.

Bottom line. I would advice you to keep an eye on the hens and see how they react to the newcomers. Like people, some may be great moms and others, not so great.
