Subject: Candling--I can't see anything!

I have a question for you seasoned button hatchers...do you find that you are able to candle button eggs? I'm used to chicken eggs--where the shells are so nice and white, that holding a flashlight up to the egg is like doing an x-ray. Early in incubation, you can see vascularization, maybe the yolk, and later, you can at least see the air sac. I can't see a darned thing through my button eggs...and I don't know if it's because the shells are darker, or what. I can't even see an air sac. Can anyone comment on this?
