If your router has a DHCP server built in and if all the computers using it are configured for automatic IP addresses, you shouldn't get two machines with the same address. But that's a lot of ifs. (Grin) I leave most of my computers with automatic addressing but I have two (my Linux computers) with fixed addresses because I need to be able to access them directly from outside.

One of the things that impresses me about Ustream is that I don't need to do that for the video feed. Since I originate the connection from the computer with the camera, it doesn't matter what it's address is. All anybody else needs to be able to find is Ustream's server.

Dave
