Gee I do feel kind of guilty leaving the chick by itself. I bought this chick first from a breeder and it was only three days later that I bought another pair of chicks. That is why I have made two brooders as the first one is not big enough for all three. I'll try and put the lonely chick in with the other two. I guees its pretty selfish to seperate them for the sake of them wanting to bond with humans instead of their own. Being able to have a tame quail is something very precious if only most quails turn out that way. I also have a single quail in the past which was raised from a chick. I didnt get to get another quail with that one and she is still fine now but is only somewhat tame. She will let you hold and pet her in your hand but still remains skittish at times. Maybe I can buy another adult quail to be with her but since she has always been on her own in her own cage I dont know if she will bond with another quail. I do want her to be happy and be as healthy as she can be....
