Congrats. on your two chicks! I wouldn't recommend separating them as their already accustomed to each other and will consistently peep if your separate them.

You did the right thing by removing them from the others. They most likely would have been dead by now hadn't you removed them. At least they're safe in the brooder.

The only thing I can suggest is that you handle them as much as you can. Just be careful not to stress them out too much as this can lead to illness. There is no straight guarantee that they will become tame.
