I'm sorry that you've had this problem with your chicks. I really don't know what the problem could be either, other than genetic, since they're coming from the same parents. When we put our chicks into the brooder, we tap on the marbles in the water bowl, drawing their attention to the water, and keep it up until they drink. It's so frustrating to lose the little ones, not knowing how to help them and wanting to know the problem so we can prevent it in the future.
