Subject: Sexing & Identifying chicks

Hi, first sorry this is so long.

I have 5 buttons (2 female / 3 male) that are 3.5 months and have been laying eggs for a few weeks now. We have been collecting them daily and placing in the incubator. I currently have 15 healthy chicks in my brooder and 1 in my incubator for a total of 16. Yikes!

I've been to the websites that everyone has mentioned and plan on bringing my laptop up to my brooder to try and figure out the types. but I am still pretty clueless on trying to sex the chicks. I've found a few homes with friends who have fallen in love with my 5 beauties but what on earth do I do with the others in my brooder and the 40+ in my incubator?

For pictures go to www.takethreephotography.blogspot.com and then click on quails in the bottom left column.

If your still reading thank you so much for all the help.

Amanda G.
