Well button quail like being in pairs. That's the way they live in the wild. The male when he was alone was just boinking. Now that there is 3 in the cage I suggest you seperate the young pair from the old boy you guys have and by one girl or boy(I don't know the sex of your bird) and just have two pairs. It'll be more fun!!
