They probably would chase it, they have pretty good eyesight. Mine can spot an earwig a mile off & go crazy, & they are always chasing moths & little bugs. And I recently heard that birds have the same amount of cones in their eyes as humans, or something lol which apparantly means they also see in colour, unlike other animals. I just read 'That Quail, Robert' & the quail in that book seemed to have a real preference for the colour red. My guys always seem to prefer the waterer with the red base as opposed to the one with the blue base for some reason. One of our cats used to send himself mental chasing after a laser pointer, he'd run up & down the stairs after it & jump as high up the walls as he could!! It was very amusing in a mean sort of way!
