Thank you, Rhonda and Trina. I wasn't sure how long it should take because I've seen videos on the web of a chick hatching in something like 10 minutes.

As for helping a struggling chick, my philosophy in general is to let nature look out for itself. Chicks have been hatching for thousands of years, I'm sure there's little I can do to improve the process.

I will try to boost the humidity in the incubator when the time draws near, though. Or maybe I'll just put it outside. The weather's been brutal here. (Grin)
