Yes, I have successfully introduced quails to their parents once they've reached adulthood. It's just the same as introducing any new bird. It's just chicks that would be vunerable to being attacked. You just have to be careful, and keep a close eye on them while they get used to each other. I have 3 generations of quails who live happily together. 'Grandad', the original father, gets on brilliantly with his sons, daughters and grandchildren.
