Subject: Research Project - Button Breeders Needed

Hello People-

I am going to be conducting a reaserch project over the next few
montha, and was wondering if any other button breeders would be
interested in participating. I am going to be experimenting in a
field i have had great success in. Surrogate bird parents!

In the past, i have hatched buttons, and when they were between 3-7
days old, i would put a laying hen in with them. I have NEVER had any
difficulty with this. I have a few chicks in the brooder right now,
and i just introduced a hen this morning, and it's going great.

If you would like to participate, you must meet the following
requirements:

*Have an incubator and a brooder
*Have atleast one adult FEMALE button quail that is not aggressive,
one that lays eggs is preffered
*Have had experience with incubating eggs
*Are willing to fill out a few forms and report the findings to me

I would be tracking the progress from hatch date untill the buttons
are 4 weeks old. If you have any button chicks that are less than a
week old, and would like to participate in this project feel free.
Also, if you have eggs in the inucbator, or are willing to put a few
in.

I will post about my procedure and meathod in a day or so. If you
participate in this project PLEASE FOLLOW MY PROCEDURE AS CLOSE AS
POSSIABLE TO ENSURE RELIABE AND UNIFORM RESULTS. thanks

Natasha
