Subject: How can I introduce them steadily?

I went to the petstore today and I had to buy a pair, so I went home with a male and female. I let them meet eachother inside my room, then put them in the cage. all was good until the new male and female chased penny away from them :C
anytime penny gets near they will run after her making threatening calls.

so, how can I make them get along? how can i slowly introduce them? luckily i have another large cage handy for them two, but i would really prefer them to live together. so, how can I do this? thanks in advance~
