I have some Societies right now. Mine are stinkers though and won't take care of their own babies. I had a Gouldian hen lay a few eggs in their nest though and they fed those. I am thinking the person that had them before me used them for fosters. I don't know their life span though as these are my first ones. I have the Crested variety and love their Beatles hairdos, LOL! I also love how friendly they are to all of my other Finches and pile altogether in one nest. Very cute!! I have Strawberry Finches, Cordon Bleus, Owls and Gouldians. I really love their colors and songs!
