Subject: Feeding Vegetables and Fruit

hi again, I've always put vegies and fruit in my buttons cage, yet she never seems to eat it.

Whats that proper way of feeding it to them? like, do i chop it up? if so how small? where do i put it in their cage?

I've tried putting mealworms ontop, yet she just grabs the mealworm and drops it somewhere else, then repeatedly pecks the poor thing until finally slurping it up like a piece of spaghetti xD

I've tried broccoli leaves, snow pea sprouts celery and apple slices, yet I havent seen her touch it :C

thanks in advance!
