Hello,
I was looking up male crowing as I just got a button quail and its doing it every morning around 4 and 7am >.<
Its also doing hissing noises after.
Its good to know that getting a mate for him would help - I woundn't mind getting one but I want to rise it by hand as mine was bought in a petshop and still is a bit scared of me. I realise it will never get as tame as a hand rised one.

Does anyone know if putting 2 quails rised in different ways may cause the tame one to go 'wild'?

I also wanted to say hello to everyone on the BQ Bulletin Board - hiya :)
