Hi Diane,

That was scary!!! I know, it is so hard to go on vacation and leave your animals with someone else. We have two separate trips coming up. If our eggs do hatch, we will have chicks that will be about two and a half weeks old when we leave the first time. I'm real nervous about that. I plan to ask a family to bird-sit who has done it for us several times before. A lady and her 17 year-old daughter. They have been very conscientious in the past, coming over twice a day to check on the birds. But I'm thinking that chicks may need more supervision than that. I just can't remember. Any thoughts?
