My brother was along the Cambodia border under blanket defoliation in about 1971 and now has MRI-established pontic-cerebellar degeneration. It became manifest at about age 58 and is progressing rapidly (he is now 60). It may be spontaneous olivo-ponto-cerebellar atrophy (OPCA). Vets subject to these symptoms should NOT manifest them until their 5th or 6th decade. This means that parkinsonian-like symptoms that do NOT respond to dopamine therapies may begin showing up. This web resource may be the best way to link these men with their symptoms. Further symptomatology available..
