CALVIN. MY FIRST QUESTION IS ARE YOU REPRESENTED BY A SERVICE ORGANIZATION IN THE CLAIMS PROCESS?IF NOT I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU CONTACT THE LOCAL COUNTY SERVICE OFFICER AND SEEK THEIR ASSISTANCE IN ASSURING ALL YOUR PAPERWORK IS IN ORDER. THIS WILL REDUCE SOME OF THE TIME IT TAKES.
BE AWARE THAT IT TAKES THE VA A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS TO PROCESS THE CLAIMS.
BE SURE THAT IF THEY VA WRITES TO YOU THAT YOU RESPOND TO THE CORRESPONDENCE IF THEY NEED ANY FURTHER INFORMATION AND DO NOT JUST TRASH THE LETTERS.KEEP ALL APPOINTMENTS THEY SCHEDULE YOU FOR . HOPE THIS HELPS
