I was At Cam Rahn Bay when the bomb dump went up . It was Aug 26 1971. I was there a month to the day. I was assigned to the 483rd Security Police Sq. We were recalled and dispatched to set up a defensive perimeter on the beach road about 1.5 miles from the bomb dump itself. I remember ordanance going off for months after the initial attack. Can you tell me if Agent Orange was used at Cam Rahn Bay from 1971-1972? I remember sitting in a bunker Bay side and all the vegetation on both sides of me dead and having lush jungle further back from the perimeter!!!!!
