Subject: agent orange verification

I served with VRC-50 and VQ-1 from 1968 thru 1970. I was in Danang 3 different times during that period. My service records only show the Japan and Phillipine service. I have filed for Agent Orange compensation (have prostate and lung canceres). After 8 months, the VA determined that I have not proved I was in-country (feet on the ground), so they rejected the claim. Unless it was a dream, I am sure I was there....including the attack on the ammo dump during that period. I worked in aviation supply for both squadrons at different times. If you have any suggestions as to how I can verify this, please let me know. The VA is really looking out for us (NOT).

Thanks, steve norton, AK3
