Subject: NEED HELP FOR POST TRAUMATIC STRESS

Hello. I have a 23 year old son who is suffering from post traumatic stress. A year and a half ago, a boy he'd grown up with shot himself in the head just a few feet in front of my son. This has destroyed his life (mine too). He has nightmares, drinks until he goes into blackouts, has uncontrollable rages, etc. etc. I have had to take him to the emergency room at least 5 times, he has been admitted for inpatient therapy twice now, for 30 day treatments. He does see a therapist once a week, but he is no better, in fact he seems worse. I am at my wits end how to help him. I was wondering if any Vietnam Vets might be able to give me some guidance as to how to help him. Thank you in advance. (And Welcome Home)
