Subject: US Navy, sailors with illnesses.

Hello, My dad was in the US Navy on a helo carrier during the tail end of Viet Nam...Ops Frequent Wind and Eagle Pull--He joined in 1974 right out of school. He got sick in OCT '06 with what appears to be Toxic poisoning symptoms (Agent orange or other agent toxins), excluding Diabetes...yet. The VA has disabled him 100%. He has never been sick a day in his life. He turned 51 in the hospital. My Grandfather, retired Air Force, Viet Nam, has the same medical problems my father has but with diabetes-my dad is the only one out of 8 children so we don't believe it to be genetic. My Grampa also became sick while in his early 50's.My dad has a friend who served aboard the ship at the same time who also has severe medical problems. Did something happen aboard the ships at the time of these operations that could have caused the sailors to get sick? Is there other sailors out there who are also sick? If so, please contact me.
