Randy A. Norris was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in April of 2007. He endured weekly chemotherapy throughout his battle. In March of 2009, Randy underwent a lung resection and radiation seeding for the new primary cancer found in his lungs. His duties as a "lrrp" and helicopter gunner kept him well-exposed to agent orange in '68-'69. This beautiful and brilliant man was taken from me on 7-13-2009, four days prior to what would have been his 63rd birthday.
Randy always felt destined to develop cancer, due to his exposure to agent orange.
It has been 795 days since I opened that body bag to kiss him on the forehead just one more time. I still don't know how to "do life" without him.
