Subject: ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA AND NEHMER CLAIMS

My husband, who was always healthy, was diagnosed in 2006 with acute myeloid leukemia and died less than 6 months later.
Subsequently, I received a letter in 2011 stating my husbands claim for benefits was being reevaluated under the Nehmers process.
I have been denied twice now because his AML is not on the registry and is not considered service connected.
Is there anyone else facing this? Any sucessful outcomes? If so, how were they precipitated?
