Subject: My Father

Hoping to find someone that remembers my Father. CMSGT Jack McCrary. He flew c130's (flight engineer) beginning with Sewart AFB in the late 50's. We were stationed at Charleston AFB around 61 and he deployed to Nam in 67. His plane 64-0547 was considered MIA over Laos in Dec. of 67. He and 10 other crew members supposedly hit the karst of a mountain around the Black River...Special Ops...314th TAW..The plane was magically found in 92, over 800 bone and teeth fragments repatriated at the crash site...Only 8 men identified thru mtDNA, my Dad was not identified..After further research 2 years ago I found his name on the Last Known Alive list of 5 government web sites. It claims he made radio contact hours after the plane was reported missing. My family was never informed of this information at any time during his 11 years as declared MIA. Then the government decides they are to be listed as KIA years before the crash site or news of the site was ever discovered. KIA without any bodies, oh our wonderful peaceful governmental officials.
Just wondering if anyone knew him, could share a great story, share anything with me...I need to celebrate his valor and honor, his bravery and dedication...

Thanks Cynthia McCrary-Harris
