I didn't tell you what I have been through, what my trials were. I don't really care to bore everyone here with that information. What I did was simply state that I put a lot of work into getting myself better, the board recognized this and allowed me to go back to work in a job I love doing. Nowhere in my post did I try to come off as elitist, a 12-stepper (which I am anything but) or anything else that resembles someone that is anything but very grateful for being given the opportunity to get my life back on track. When I said you get what you put into it, I was just trying to encourage those who are beginning their journey through recovery. I have been coming to this site off/on for the past 2 1/2 years, and I have read some pretty discouraging things on here. Mostly negative. I have never taken the time to write on here until I read this post, which was asking for something positive. That is what I tried to contribute, and you Lily have somehow turned what I thought was a positive message into a very hateful one. All I wanted to say was, yes you can get it back, look at me.
